I have a newly constructed workshop with 5 bench spaces. It is centrally situated near Southwark station, Tate Modern Gallery, London Assay Office and Hatton Garden.

We are lucky to have an experienced smith who will be in the workshop for one day a week for tuition and technical advice. He worked for several years in the trade following training at Central St Martins and his apprenticeship. After leaving the trade he taught in adult education and finally at the Royal College of Art.

It is possible that craftsmen in other areas will take master classes in the future.

As tuition is only available for the one day, it is best suited for post graduate students or those who already have a reasonable level of experience. It is ideally suited to smiths/jewellers who wish to extend their technical skills.

It is possible we may run occassional 6 day non-vocational courses depending on demand. These would be held on 6 sundays.

The bench spaces are available immediately and I would like to have contracts for a minimum of 6 and preferably 12 months.
